IL-76 airplane and is assigned for:
Forest fire fighting and creating fire blocking
zones.
Paradropping of 40 fireman and their equipment
to the areas of forest fire.
Fire fighting by provoking artificial rain
Its large Cargo Cabin, extended by
24 m, allows large cargoes to be carried and permits
full use to be made of the 52 tons load-lofting
capability
